Thank you for your inquiry into Nature’s Haven. Let me tell you a bit about it.

Nature’s Haven is an 80-acre private retreat, offering a relaxed and casual atmosphere.  It is tucked away amid pristine hardwood and pine forests, apple orchards, and an five-acre spring fed lake.  The retreat center also has a river and a beautiful little pond, with all with the sounds of nature as your music.   There is a spot alongside the pond to build a fire or swing gently.  It’s not unusual to see an abundance of bluebirds, red-tailed hawks, owls, rabbits, deer and more.  Walking trails and volleyball are available for your enjoyment.  

 

Nature’s Haven is still a ‘work in progress’ as we seek to make it a little nicer every year, while maintaining it’s rustic and casual atmosphere.  We are located in Brighton Township Michigan, three miles from the lovely downtown area (which in itself is worth visiting and nice to stroll through), convenient shopping centers and numerous restaurants. 

 

Surrounded by Mother Nature, we have three buildings.  The main building has a view of the pond.  It has a convenient, commercial kitchen, and a large combined dining area/activities room.   In a second building, there are women’s and men’s shower and bathroom facilities.  A third building houses lodging. There are also two private bedrooms.

 

Whether you are looking for a place to hold a retreat with classes, activities and meals, a place to have a family reunion, or just a place to ‘get away from it all’ with a group – the retreat center is the perfect place to relax and get it done.  

 

If you want the luxury of the four star hotel, you probably won’t be comfortable here.  But if you desire a serene, natural setting with the ability to be casual – the beauty and sounds of nature, the conveniences of home and your privacy – you will love it here!
